I watched the movie today. The movie is based on Ruskin Bond's book, Susanna's Seven Husbands. The movie is a dark comedy, where the lead actress Priyanka is looking for love and always marries a man with a flaw. The story is of how she kills each of her 6 husbands and marries the 7th one. The meaning of the movie title “7 Khoon Maaf” is understood only at the end of the movie. The title and the ending are so perfect! It’s a good movie to watch, with fine actors playing the husband roles. All the actors have acted well, especially Priyanka Chopra. The movie is well directed. And for the first time I have seen the famous singer Usha Uthup act in a movie. One of the dialogues that struck to me was in the end, "Every woman in this world wishes at least once, to get freedom from her husband"! LOL!
